| Howie's Testimony |

I was brought up in a Jewish home and my parents divorced when
I was 8 years old. I grew up believing there was a God, but had no
real spiritual foundation or direction. I was an athlete in high school, and got real serious about my education in college, but was never exposed to the Gospel at all. After graduate school I moved
to Colorado Springs where I worked as a physical therapist. While
treating patients, I had many people talk to me about Jesus, leave
me tracks, try to minister to me, to no avail. Quite honestly, I did
not see any real christian examples, and it sort of turned me off.
In 1991, I met a man named Terry Felber who had been successful in the Amway business. I had never heard of Amway, but I saw the
"fruit " in his life. His attitude, marriage, financial success, and heart for people inspired me. On April 14th 1991 in San Jose, California at a leadership conference for the Amway business, I
accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Terry was sharing the
Gospel at a Sunday morning service, and when he offered an alter call, I came forward and accepted Christ into my heart forever. I have had many awesome examples in my life, but by far the greatest one has been my incredible wife Theresa. Her testimony is posted on this site. We met in 1996 through the Amway business,
and discovered we were saved on the same day, April 14th, 1991,
how awesome is that! Our life today is so blessed that it is sometimes hard to communicate. We have three incredible children, Isaiah, Gabriel, and Elisha. We have both been financially independent since 1993, which has allowed us a lot of freedom,
lifestyle, but most of all time to build many incredible relationships, spend time as a
family, and bless many others along the way. Christ is my "rock", and I am forever
grateful for what he has done in my life.
