Hi my name is sissy(nickname).I was saved around 27 years ago.I was pretty wild as a teenager,when I got old enough to buy beer,I drank alot.I tried some drugs,but when I got pregnant with my first child,I said no more.about that time this lady that I knew came by our house and invited us to church,I know the holy spirit was drawing me because I wanted to go really bad.they were having a revival.we went the next night and gave our lives to Jesus.wow what a change in our attitudes,there was so much love surrounding us.It's like God had placed a hedge of protection around us for a while till we could get strong enough to fight our own battles.my husband was in the hospital alot ,so every night nearly I would have friends come to my house for bible study and prayer,and people we done some praying.sometimes we would stay up till 1 or 2 o clock in the morning praying,and things were happening ,healings,people getting saved.I ate ,lived,and breathed the word of God.Now let me tell you how Jesus protected me one night.after everybody had went home i just had my middle child with me then,I locked the front door and turned the kitchen light off from the living room,I sat down got my son in my lap and started reading out of the bible to him,and I kept hearing a ssssssssssssss noice,I was thinking it was just the devil trying to hinder me from reading the bible,so I ignored it.when I got through I went to my bed and my son slept with me that night.I had a king sized bed,my son slept on one side and I the other.I felt irritated really bad for some reason and it was hard to go to sleep,but finally I started going out,about that time I felt someone touch my leg and heard a mans voice say Get up and turn the stove and coffee maker off.I jumped right out of the bed ,no fear of who was telling me this,plus not knowing that this stuff was on,and went into the kitchen and sure enough the coffee maker was on and the glass was fixing to bust,and right across from it ,I would say about 3 feet was my gas stove and the burner was on but no fire just gas.If I wouldn't have obeyed then I figure the house would have blown up,so you tell me who do you think woke me up,I believe it was an angel.We move to another house and we were still pretty strong in the lord,prayed,had bible studies.my husband started getting real bad headaches and so he went to his back doctor and they accidentally xrayed a little further up his neck and we found out he had a brain tumor.it was cancer.he had emphysema already.he had surgery and they started him on chemo and radiation,which to me was killing him faster.he was the best grandpa a child could have,but he got to where he was kinda like a zombie just sitting there,barley making any contact with them.hepassed away at home,and I know that he is with Jesus.about a year later my sister moved in with me and she was ok foar a while but she started getting sick,she ended up in the hospital where she later died,and us still not knowing what she died from,they couldn't find anything.before she passed away my best friend died.i was being tormented when my husband passed away.i had a nightmare where he was in the house but in my dream he was suppose to be dead ,and I was happy to see him,but when I hugged him and stepped back he started changing into a child and then a teenager and thats when he started turning into a demon,so I grab him with one hand and slung him down to the floor,except it wasn't the floor anymore it was a giant hole and he went down,and this is the good part this big booming voice said (satan be gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,after that no more nightmares.hey God is with you even in your dreams.ok then every night when I would go to bed I would read a psalms and one night I skipped reading .while I was lying there with my eyes shut I felt some one touch the top of my head,again felt no fear,I turned over and looked but no one was there.So the next night when i went to bed and opened to psalms where I left off the night before and the first thing that it said was he placed his hand upon my head and touched me,yessssss .that's who touched my head the night before.he has blessed me in so many ways,thank you and i hope this encourages those who need it , God bless
